It started with Arduinos on the kitchen table with my dad when I was six; I got into programming properly in 2015. I wrote my diploma thesis on image recognition a few months before ChatGPT, and I've been in the field since. These days most of my code is written by agents, and my actual job is deciding what they're allowed to touch: deploying tools, integrating AI into running systems, and teaching other people how to work with it. Today I do that as AI Integration Engineer at more-dimensions GmbH.

AI coding tools have moved from autocomplete to agents that plan, edit and run code across an entire repository. That shifts the developer's job more than the tooling suggests: the bottleneck is no longer typing, it's context, review and trust.
