I'm Karel Calitz, a designer and strategist at Juizi, a web development agency based in South Africa. We build websites for nonprofits, research institutions, and educational organisations. I help clients step back, think clearly about what their site is really for, and build something that works - for the people who run it and the people who use it. Editors get tools they can actually work with. Leadership gets a site they understand. Their audience gets something that connects the dots.\n\nI've been part of the Plone community for over twenty years, as a designer and developer, a Foundation Member, and a regular PloneConf speaker and trainer. I keep coming back for the fun, the friends I've made (and haven't yet), the code, and the very human experience of actually having to use the thing you just built.
