As sites grow and develop over years, it becomes more important to provide different target audiences with the right tools to find and use the information that they need. That includes using tools like tagging, listings, overviews, menus and others.

But information is not static; what may have seemed like a good site structure five years ago may not reflect your current focus. And especially larger sites may have to cater to different audiences with different needs. Information may have to be retired, but still be available for archival or even legal purposes.
